A terrible problem ;O

Hey, my name is Tim and I have a big problem ! I sweat all the time, especially when I’m nervous and I’m with the girl who I like. Addictionally I have a bad luck ;// One day when I was in Jenny’s house she showed me a crystal vase which is very important for her family. Unfortunatelly I broke it because I have sweaty palms ! I’m not sure how it happened! I was scared of her parents’ reactions. When I escaped through the window I threw a flowerpot on her father’s head.  It was a shock and I thought that I killed him! Luckily he recovered consciousness after 15 minutes. I felt terrible so next day I went to apologize and gave him a present- helmet. Jenny’s father was embarassed and didn’t take the helmet. What am I suppossed to do ? Maybe should I go to museum and steal the same beauthiful vase? How do I get rid of excesses sweaties? Maybe should I take some medicines or should I search a four-leaf clover? Could you give me some advice, please?

Giving advice

You should try again.

You shouldn’t try again.

I think you shouldn’t ask her again.

Go for a walk. It’ll do you good!

Visit the new art gallery. You’ll love it!

You’d better take a coat. It might get cold.

If I were you, I would ask a doctor.

I recommend  (that) you take up a hobby.

I believe when you go out with close friends you’ll feel better.

Dear Judyta,

How are you? Thanks for your last letter. I’m sorry I haven’t written for so long. I want to tell you about my holidays.

I spent two weeks on the farm in Chruścice. I visited my cousin Ewa. I liked the disco there the most. There were a lot of people. I met a very handsome guy. His name is Mark. He has short, brown hair and he is very tall. He is talkative and responsible. In the evenings we walked to the forest, we had bonfires and we played tennis. One day I was riding a horse and I fell from the horseback. That was horrible! I twisted my ankle. Fortunatelly on the next day I felt fine. My favourite place was a lake in the wood. There are a lot of fabulous flowers. People go there to swim.

Anyway, I have to finish now. I hope that you will visit me soon. 😉

Do drop me a line soon. Take care! 🙂

Yours, Iwona

Dear Santa Claus,

Firstly, I want to thank you for a gift, which you gave me last year. In fact, I’m writing to you because I have request for you. I would like to ask you for present to my best friend Magda.

She wants to get a puppy because her dog Sara was ill and she died last month. I think that new dog will make her happy.  Magda is 16 years old. She is tall and slim. She has got long blonde hair and oval face with blue eyes and full lips. Magda is very funny. She always tells jokes and makes everyone laugh. She is kind and generous, too. She loves buying people presents or doing things to help them. She always helps me when I have problem.

If you fulfill Magda’s dream I promise that I will help Magda to look after her dog and I won’t argue with my brother.

Love,

Iwona 😉
